BBC Children in Need

18th November 2011

On Friday 18th November the children did their bit for the BBC Children in Need appeal by coming into nursery dressed in pyjamas and getting stuck into many fun and messy activities to promote the great work done by the charity. There was cake and biscuit making, where staff allowed the children to get as messy as they liked (and they liked very much judging by the results). Finger painting and mask making, stories and songs to name but a few. The important thing was the children had a great time and learned many valuable lessons along the way. The nursery also put a donation bucket out for parents to contribute to and we have so far managed to raise over £113.00 (at the time of writing this) and we are expecting to get more as the days go by. We would like to thank all of the parents and children for joining in this and also the staff for being such good sports and coming in dressed up too. Thanks to all.
