A letter from the NSPCC

16th November 2011

I have had the privilege to work with Oakmount Nursery for the past 10 years. During that time they have supported the work of the NSPCC whole heartedly and raised in excess of 10 thousand pounds. Oakmount Nursery have also collected hundreds of brand new toys at Christmas and Easter eggs at Easter which have been donated  to families and children who have been helped and supported by the NSPCC. The Nursery has a fantastic charity ethic and over the years have engaged the children with a variety of exciting and fun activities to raise vital funds for the NSPCC. When I visit Oakmount nursery to speak to the children and collect the money raised the children are always excited to talk about the charity week where they took part in games and activities including cooking, painting and dancing. I am always highly impressed with the professionalism and dedication of the staff. Everything is organised to enhance and engage the children in every aspect of the planned activities as much as possible and having visited the nursery regularly the children are clearly enjoying their experience at Oakmount. I can’t thank the management team of Rosemary, Steven and Nicola enough for their commitment and support, they do a fantastic job and the NSPCC is extremely grateful for everything Oakmount have donated and raised over the years. The NSPCC is here to help and support all children and families please feel free to look at the website if you want to find out further information www.nspcc.org.uk If you would like to volunteer to either support and help children or take part in further fundraising please give me a call on my contact number below
